Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information ReplayEdge ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use our website and services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

Account details — a name and email address when you sign up directly or through a sign-in provider such as Google (handled through our authentication provider, Supabase).
Profile content — an optional username and avatar image, plus social actions such as following other users or sending encouragement ("cheers").
Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We receive subscription status and plan details; we never see or store your full card number.
Messages you send us — feedback, support requests, and email preferences (such as an optional weekly digest).

Information collected automatically

Learning and gameplay activity — lesson completions, quiz results, game runs, XP, streaks, achievements, and similar progress data. Much of this is stored locally in your browser (localStorage); some aggregate statistics (for example, profile stats shown to friends and leaderboard entries) are stored on our servers.
Behavioral training signals — in-game pattern flags (for example, "late entry" or "overtrading" markers) used solely to power your personal training features. These describe gameplay, not real trading.
Basic technical data — logs and analytics events (such as page and feature usage) used to operate and improve the Service.

Market data

When you use market-data features, your requested symbols are sent to our server, which fetches quotes and headlines from third-party public sources. We do not send those providers your identity.

2. How We Use Information

To provide and personalize the Service (progress, streaks, training recommendations, social features).
To process subscriptions, trials, referrals, and billing through Stripe.
To send service emails you request (such as the weekly digest) — you can opt out at any time.
To secure, debug, and improve the Service.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. How Information Is Shared

Service providers — Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication), hosting and infrastructure providers, and market-data sources as described above, each only as needed to provide the Service.
Other users — your username, avatar, and gamified statistics (such as level, streak, and XP) are visible to users you interact with through social features and leaderboards.
Legal — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service or its users.
Business transfers — if ReplayEdge is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to keep you signed in, remember preferences (like your sidebar and market track), and store your learning progress. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Blocking or clearing local storage may reset your local progress and preferences.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and server-side data while your account is active and as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period. Locally stored progress remains on your device until you clear it.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@replayedge.io. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we handle. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials private.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users must be 18+ to purchase a subscription. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the Service, and the effective date above will be updated. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
